The Quad Cities Early Childhood Coalition, established in 2006 by the Northland Foundation, works to ensure that all children and families thrive and have access to early care, education and resources. Located in the heart of the Mesabi Iron Range, the Quad Cites Area Early Childhood Coalition represents the communities of Eveleth, Gilbert, Mountain Iron and Virginia and the school districts of Eveleth-Gilbert, Mountain Iron-Buhl, and Virginia.
